It’s been a big week of recognition for our Senior Men, with several Burras earning well-deserved honours following outstanding 2026 seasons.
Congratulations to Ty Kitchell and Dom Akuei, who have both been named in the 2026 NFNL Division 2 Team of the Year.
But the recognition didn’t stop there, with three St Mary’s players also featuring in the Herald Sun Leader’s Top 30 NFNL Players list:

- #6 – Ty Kitchell
- #11 – Huon Macgibbon
To have three Burra’s ranked among the competition’s top players is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the seasons they’ve produced.
