Tonight our netball teams participated in the NFNL’s inaugural Harmony Round, celebrating our multicultural society and the benefits it brings.
Our players donned orange ribbons in their hair to show our commitment to embodying cultural inclusivity and diversity . Why orange? Orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.
Netball, like any sport, has the remarkable ability to bring people together, transcending cultural and language barriers. So, let’s carry the spirit of harmony round with us, both in our sporting endeavours and in our everyday interactions.
